Haiti is TOMORROW!!!

I can't believe it is here...tomorrow I am leaving for Haiti! Well, really I am leaving tonight at 3:00 in the morning (that was an oxymoron kind of). I have been so slack about writing on here, but I have been really busy. The support I have recieved for this trip has been overwhelming. I have sent out some thank you cards, but have not finished them. So expect one as soon as I get back :) So far this is what I know we are doing while in Haiti. Our daily schedule is installing a water filtration system in a school, then teaching a health and nutrition class to the kids, then we do a massive food distribution in each area (bagging and handing out food), and after that we will be hanging out with the children in the orphanges. I have been taking Anti-Malaria medicine for the past two weeks...so I should be safe hopefully...I just have to make sure I do not drink any of the water that is not in the Convoy of Hope building...but my doctor gave me some pills just incase that happens too ...hahah. I bought some clothes for some of the children there. They said the orphanage they run was in need of infant and toddler clothes. I bought some really pretty dresses and some Carters onezies from TjMax (my favorite store if you didn't know). I also got some cute poka-dot shirts from Old Navy and some shorts. I have butterflies right now because I am so excited, but I have a lot to do today. They did say as a team we might be able to post some pictures on the church website and do updates on the trip. I will have to figure out where you should go for that and I will put it on here tonight. Please just pray for our team and all the Haitians we will be meeting. Also pray for me to have strength during the day because I am a very emotional person and need to stay strong during the day. I can't walk around crying all the time while helping these people. MESI again! (Mesi is Thank you in Creole) I look forward to telling you about everything :) M' ale orevwa (Good-bye)...and my favorite...SOURI (Smile) :) xoxo
